Mrs. Emma Jean Perry age 89 of Hawthorne passed away 19, 2024 at Magnolia Ridge Rehabilitation center in Gainesville. Emma was born on March 12, 1935 in Bell to the late Henry and Thelma (Phillips) Williams. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and prior to retirement worked for Florida Farm Bureau Insurance in accounting. She was past president of the Pilot Club and enjoyed spending time with her family as well as donating her time at Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Perry, Jr., children Charles Perry, III, and Cathy Jean Whitworth Perry. Also preceding her in death was her siblings, Gerald Williams, David Williams, Jimmy Williams, and Donald Williams. Survivors are, her son, Joe Perry of Hawthorne, seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Trinity Baptist Church of Keystone Heights.
