Emmanuel Diaz Lorenzo Funeral services for Sergeant First Class Emmanuel Diaz Lorenzo, 49, who passed away on February 10, 2013, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, with Dr. Tom Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors. SFC Lorenzo was born in Manila, Philippines. He resided in Jacksonville, Florida prior to being stationed in Stuttgart, Germany for 12 years. SFC Lorenzo was a Paralegal in the United States Army. He was a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and had been deployed to the Balkans and Korea.He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Germany. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Rachel A. Ilanan Lorenzo; son, Zachary Ilanan Lorenzo; mother, Avelina Kiesow; father, Pedro Lorenzo; 1 sister, Sharon Mayo (SFC Robert Mayo); 1 brother, Aloysius Louie Lorenzo (Mabel).
