Anthony Rister officiating. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, Mr. McHale died peacefully on November 18, 2014 in Gainesville, FL. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0400. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Bertha McHale and brother, Stanley Steven "Steve" McHale. He is survived by his loving wife Carol McHale; sons Emmett K. McHale Jr. and David Scott McHale; daughter, Michelle Teel; step-sons, Joseph McDonald Jr. and Michael McDonald; step-daughters, Kelli Schreffler and Erin McDonald; sister, Pamela Broadwell (Glynn); brother, Wayne McHale; 7 grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren.
