Funeral services for Mrs. Erda McLeod Starling, 95, widow of Alton "Bill" Starling will be held at 11:00A.M. Friday, from the graveside, in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Russell Franklin of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Green Cove Springs, FL officiating. Born June 11, 1920 in Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Starling died Monday, March 28, 2016 in Jacksonville. She was retired as bookkeeper from Daylight Grocery. Mrs. Starling was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star, the Daughters of the Nile, the Southside Womans Club and the Daughters of the Confederacy. Survivors include two daughters, Gloria S. Sluder of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Dianne S. (James) Ballard of Kissimmee, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
