Mr. Eric DeWayne Davis age 45 of Starke passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born January 13, 1977, in Jacksonville. Eric owned and operator Davis Tile and was an expert tile setter. He attended Calvary Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman; Eric also enjoyed traveling and especially taking cruises. He was preceded in death by his parents Ansel E. and Theda (Moseley) Davis, Sr., a brother Ansel "Buddy" Davis, Jr. and Theresa Harris (Birth Mom). His survivors are his wife Jennifer (Swanson) Davis of Starke; children Jacob Davis, Kaleb Davis, Josh Davis, all of Starke, DeAnna Davis of Orange Park, and Jonathan Davis also of Starke. Also left behind are his siblings Mike Davis (Susan) of North Carolina, Jeff Davis (Lisa) of South Carolina, Michael Harris (Virginia) and Debbie Wetzel (Fred) all of Clay Hill and Ashley Icard (Todd) of Keystone Heights along with his father in-law Bobby Swanson of Starke, a sister in-law Susan Davis of Clay Hill, step-dad Mike Harris of Maxville, and his beloved dog "Gator". Visitation for Eric will be begin at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022, in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Memorial Services beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor DeWayne Jowers officiating.
