A funeral service for Erik Leland Hansen, 37 of Jacksonville, FL, will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2PM with Pastor David Patrick officiating. Erik is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Hansen of Jacksonville FL, his son Miles Hansen of Jacksonville FL, his father Roy Hansen of Nashville, IL, his brother John Hansen of Okawville, IL, his in-laws Ronald and Christine Orrico of Sandy Hook, CT, his brother-in-law Steven Orrico of Naugatuck, CT, and his special buddy Greg, his dog. Erik is preceded in death by his mother Karen Hansen. Erik enjoyed spending time in nature, fishing, boating, disc-golfing, grilling, cooking, and above all, spending time with his family.
