Estel Aaron Butner, born on November 5, 1937, passed away on December 18, 2025.

A devoted father, loving grandfather, and cherished friend to many, passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 88 years old. He was known for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. As a father, he led with patience and dedication, always putting his family first. He taught by example, showing the importance of hard work, integrity, and compassion.

As a grandfather, he brought joy, wisdom, and warmth into the lives of his grandchildren. His stories, laughter, and guidance created memories that will be treasured for generations.

Family members, friends, and all who knew him. He was someone dependable, thoughtful, and deeply respected. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by: daughter, Renee Ross, son, Wayne Broughman (Talena).

Grandchildren : Brandi Perez, (John Paul), Joseph Ross III (Megan), Hannah Ross (William), Kaleb Cavite, Kylee Cavite, Malyssa Graves (Cody), Melanie Broughman, Emma Broughman, Tony Broughman (Crystal), Chelsie Sisk (Brittany), Elysia, John Paul, Brayden, Rylee, Weston, Jr., Lainey, Tristen, Levi, Kelton, Chase, Colton, Brice, Austin, McKenna, Mackenzie, Taylor, Tony Jr.

He was preceded in death by: his loving wife of 48 years, Rita P. Butner, son Arnold M. Broughman, and brother Ernest Sigmon.

A Service to Celebrate his Life will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Loyal Order of the Moose 32134, located at 9703 Lem Turner Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32208.

Estel Aaron Butner will be remembered for his love of family, his generous spirit, and the legacy of love that he leaves behind.
