COMPTOM- Ester Snyder Compton, age 77, of Green Cove Springs, a homemaker and avid gardener, died peacefully, in the Haven Hospice of Lake City, July 8, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jimmie B. Compton and son, Harry Gene Ray. Ester is survived by her sister Glenda Willingham (Paul) of Lake Butler and also her 2 nieces and 5 nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Helm-Gallagher Chapel, 1811 Idlewild Ave SR 16, Green Cove Springs, FL., with a visitation starting at 9:00 AM. The interment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Fort Call Cemetery on Fort Call Road off of SR 18, East of Worthington Springs, FL.
