Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Louise Bell Dorsey, 99, will be held at 2:00p.m. Thursday in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South, with Dr. Edward E. Lockamy officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born May 28, 1919 in Savannah, Georgia to Susan and Enoch Bell, Mrs. Dorsey died Monday, December 10, 2018 at her home in Jacksonville. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was retired Executive Secretary from the Duval County Civil Service Board. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Susan Kate Dorsey DuRant of Camden, South Carolina; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
