Mr. Eugene Paul Gene McFaddenMr. Eugene Paul Gene McFadden age 66, of Starke passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at his residence. Mr. McFadden was born on June 3, 1945 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late George L. McFadden, Sr. and Frances Byrne McFadden. He was a longtime resident of Starke, and was a retired Correctional Officer. Mr. McFadden was a Grand Knight with Knights of Columbus in Sharon, PA and served in the Army National Guard in Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by siblings: John McFadden; Joseph McFadden; and Anne Lumpp. Survivors are sisters: Mary Frances DeJohn of Sharon, PA; Margaret McCormick of Ft. Lauderdale; brothers: Bernard J. McFadden of Keystone Heights; Retired Major General George McFadden of Edgewater, MD; Edward McFadden of Houston, TX; friend and caregiver Sonny Brewer of Starke.
