Eunice Starling Gunter

Mrs. Eunice Starling Gunter age 87, of a life-long resident of Starke passed peacefully Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born June 22, 1931, in Starke to Benjamin James and Daisy Starling. Mrs. Gunter was a homemaker and the oldest member of Air Park Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping and gardening. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years David Gunter; two brothers Johnny Starling and Junior Starling and two sisters Thelma Moss and Vera Lee Nugent. Survivors are a daughter Deborah Patterson; three sons Wayne Gunter (Frances), Glenn Gunter (Wanda), Gary Gunter and a sister Ardelia Gossett all of Starke. Also left behind are five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. Gunter will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 4-6 p.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in Air Park Baptist Church with Pastor Arthur Masters officiating. Interment will be at Crosby Lake Cemetery.
