Mrs. Eva E (Parrish). Ballentine, 91 a long time resident of Middleburg died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Jacksonville.She was born on July 7, 1920 in Wauchula, the daughter of the late Jesse and Odie (Hallbrook) Parrish.Prior to her retirement she was employed as a machine operator and was a member of the First Black Creek Baptist Church in Penney Farms.She is survived by her son: Clawson H. Smith of Jacksonville. Her daughter: Kathleen G. Gray of Middleburg. Five Grandchildren and thirteen Great Grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her half brother: Dan Parrish of Lorida, FL. Mrs. Ballentine was pre-deceased by her husband Donald J. Ballentine and George H. Smith.Viewing will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at the HELM-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS SERVICES. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning , February 4, 2012 at 11 AM at the First Black Creek Baptist Church, 3904 SR 16, Penney Farms. Burial in First Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
