Mrs. Eva Leota Padgett Rock age 98, of Starke passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 at Shands at Starke. Mrs. Rock was born on May 3, 1912 to the late Joseph Wilson and Leota Charity Sullivan Prevatt in Starke and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and member of Southside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands Guy Padgett, Sr. and John Rock. Survivors are: her son Guy Padgett, Jr. (Darlene) of Starke; grandchildren: Cassi Smyth and Evan Hardee both of Starke; one great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL in Starke on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 2 oclock. Pastor Abe Gullermo will officiate. Interment will follow in Prevatt Cemetery.
