Mrs. Evelyn Jane Timmons, 85 of Melrose, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Haven Hospice in Palatka. Mrs. Timmons was born in Derby, Ohio on December 19, 1925 to the late Otis and Bessie (Shoemaker) Temple and she was a homemaker. In 1965 Evelyn had moved to Melrose from Mt. Sterling, Ohio and became a member of the First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max and sisters, Elizabeth Poplin and Ann Miller. Her survivors are her daughter Diana Coleman (Paul) of Melrose, brothers, Robert Temple, Dale Temple, Howard Temple, and Williams Temple all of Ohio, and 2 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wed. Dec. 29, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Crosby Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
