Ezra Litton Hassler Ezra Litton Hassler, 93, passed away on Saturday November 30, 2013 in Jacksonville. He was born in Crab Orchard, TN on March 12, 1920 to Jessie A. and Lovie Bilbry Hassler. Ezra proudly served his country and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was retired from Eastern Airlines after a long career. Ezra will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his love of the outdoors.Ezra was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 57 years, Marie Scarborough Hassler; a son, Glyn E. Hassler, Sr.; 2 brothers, Bethel & Ralph Hassler and a sister, Lavade Tuggle. He is survived by his grandchildren, Chrissy Belcher, Glyn E. Hassler, Jr. & Jeanette Hassler; 6 great grandchildren, Christopher, Mackenzie, Ashley, Kaiden, Cayson & Leila and by many extended family & friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 5, 2013 in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., with Rev. Medford Foskey officiating.
