Florence Ann Cline, 81, passed away December 21, 2021 peacefully at home. She was born in Detroit, MI on August 25, 1940 to John Wotovitch and Mary Ann Stozek-Nagler. She went to Boca Ciega HS, graduated 1958 and went on to earn a Master's degree in Education from UF. She also played the flute in the Gator Marching Band. Go Gators! She was united in marriage with Carl Cline for 60 years. She worked at GHS and as a founding teacher at Santa Fe College for 37 years. She loved Disney and started working at the Disney Store, went on to WDW Epcot's Art of Disney. She was picked out of 2000 applications to be on the Disney Dream Team. Florence was involved with Keep Alachua County Beautiful where she was on the board of directors, volunteered over 4000 hours and won the very prestigious Ladybird Johnson award in 2017. She also was involved in Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, was a Master Gardner, served as President of the Garden Club, planning short course and the Kanapaha Spring Garden Festival, chairman of children's area. Florence was survived by her husband Carl, son Mark, daughter Carla, and her two grandchildren Erica and Alex.
