In loving memory of Forrest Elwood "Woody" Miller, born on June 1, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, who peacefully departed from this life on March 24, 2025, at the age of 85. Forrest was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enriched the lives of all who knew him. He will forever be cherished and remembered for his unwavering spirit and dedication to his family and faith.
Forrest dedicated his professional life as a certified mechanic, having made a mark in the automotive industry at General Motors. His talents extended beyond mechanics; he was an enthusiastic entrepreneur, owning and successfully operating his own air purification business, "Woody Miller Air Purification."
A founding pillar of his community, Forrest passionately served as a Pastor at Lighthouse Global Ministries in Waldo, Florida, and an Evangelist for the Church of God. His deep faith inspired countless individuals, as he shared the message of love and hope within his congregation and beyond.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years., Clara Furnari Miller, and is survived by his children: Katriena Tarantino, Forrest Miller II (Jenni) , Jon Marc Miller ( Cassey) , Darlene Haddix, and Raelene Waters ( Van ). Furthermore, Forrest's legacy of love continues through his 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his dear brother, Charles Miller ( Darlene) and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life service for will be held April 12th at 2pm at Lifeline Ministries, 325 N. Christian Street, Starke, FL 32091.
As we remember Forrest, let us carry forward the values he cherished, honoring his memory through acts of kindness and service to others. He will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding light of love and strength. Rest in peace, dear Forrest.
Forrest was preceded in death by: His parents, Lawson Miller and Myrtle Miller, and siblings Lucinda Watkins, Donald Miller, and Calvin Miller.
