Mrs. Frances Louise Austin, age 75 of Lawtey passed away on Thursday October 24, 2019 from an extended illness. She was born on August 17, 1944 in Lebanon, Virginia to the late Dale and Maggie (Clark) Mitchell. Mrs. Austin was a longtime resident of Bradford County, and was a homemaker and faithful pastors wife to her loving husband Pastor Lester Austin of Lawtey, who celebrated their 57th year of marriage on October 16th of this year.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Austin is survived by four precious daughters - Annette Ricks (Billy) of Lake Asbury, Pam Hodges (John) of Lawtey, Kim McBride (Terry) of Starke, and Becky Etheridge (Kenny) of Keystone Heights. She is also survived by three sisters - Katy McCombs and Peggy Dobbs of Lawtey, and Phyllis James of Virginia. Mrs. Austin was also a loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, who brought a tremendous amount of joy to her heart.Funeral services for Mrs. Austin will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the First Baptist Church of Lawtey with Rev. Jason Crawford and Pastor Lester Austin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideon Bible Society in memory of Frances Louise Austin.
