Frances Mae Burch

Frances Mae Burch, age 87, passed away on Sunday March 10, 2019 at her home in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday March 15th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A graveside funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Axson Cemetery, 536 Fiddlers Green Rd., Axson, GA 31624.Frances was born in Atkinson County, Georgia on March 19, 1931 to Will & Pearlie Solomon Davis. She was a long-time Jacksonville resident and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Frances retired from the Days Inn motel company where she worked for many years as a manger of their housekeeping staff. In her spare time and after her retirement she enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bill Burch. She is survived by her children, Ronald Wayne Burch, Kenneth Lee Burch, Billy Gilbert Burch, Larry Thomas Burch, Gladys Denise Brown and Debra Mariah Thompson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren..Receiving FriendsGeorge H.
