Frances Elizabeth Fernley

Frances Elizabeth Fernley, 87, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born on July 19, 1938, in Port St. Joe, Frances dedicated many years of her life to working in the Cash Surrender Department at Independent Life Insurance, where she was known for her diligence and kindness.

Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Troy Fernley and Michele Fernley; her cherished granddaughter, LeAnn Schwarzrock; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Harris, Gabriel Schwarzrock, Nicole Hayes, and Joshua Hayes. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Fernley; parents, Troy and Jeannette Jones; son, James C. Fernley; and her granddaughter, Domenii Fernley.

Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2025, at Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery.

Frances will be remembered for her quiet strength, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought into every room. She will be deeply missed.
