Mrs. Frances Sheibe Strube, 80, a long time resident of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Mrs. Strube was born on September 21, 1931 in Tallahassee, FL to the late Werner A. and Zena (Vest) Scheibe. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for the State Board of Health in Jacksonville and then the Lake Region Monitor for several years. Mrs. Strube was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling. Her husband of 59 years, Jack Ed Strube, Sr. had preceded her in death in 2010. Survivors are her three sons; Bruce A. Strube and his wife Phyllis, Tom C. Strube, and Jack E. Strube, Jr. and his wife Barbara all of Keystone Heights. She also leaves behind her two sisters; Helen LaVangie, Betty Rice both of Keystone Heights, one brother; Robert Scheibe of GA and three grandchildren; Kenneth Strube and his wife Amy of Valdosta, GA, Stephanie Chatham and her husband Aaron of Jacksonville Beach, Jackson Strube of Keystone Heights, many nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sat. April 14, 2012 at 11 Oclock in the Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples officiating.
