Frances Evelyn Taylor, age 95 entered Gods Kingdom on July 14, 2023. Very peacefully, with her loved ones gathered around. He took her home. Born in Akron, Ohio, on January 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Loreta Schell. Fran had been a resident of Jacksonville, Florida since 1949. She received much joy and blessings from the precious hymns. The wonderful music of Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms and Mozart were an inspiration as she shared her knowledge and appreciation of all music with her many piano students through the years. Her Heavenly Father, family and church were very important in her life. She has served as an organist, pianist, soloist, choral director and had the thrill of singing in the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred Taylor, in 1993, sister Joan Kerns and two brothers, Melvin and Maurice Schell. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Dave Richardson of Jacksonville, and Patrice and Thom Box of Island of Cyprus; two beloved grandsons; Cody Richardson of Jacksonville, and Adrian (wife Havovi) Box of England; one great-granddaughter Nico Box; and several special nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law also survive her. Cremation has taken place and a service will be planned for a later date.
