Frances M Tyer

Mrs. Frances M. Tyer age 78 of Starke passed away in Gainesville on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Mrs. Frances was born on August 26, 1941 in Gainesville to the late Henry and Thelma "Clark" Martin. For many years Frances worked at Keystone State Bank and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tyer loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Cross Church of Starke.She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas "Tommy" Tyer; parents, Henry and Thelma "Clark" Martin; siblings, H.C. Martin, Bobby Martin, Roy Martin, Billy Martin, and Jimmy Martin. Survivors include her children, Tom (Sheri) Tyer of Lake City, Tammy (Bryan) Griffis of Raiford, and Valerie (Jason) Crawford of Starke; sisters, Margaret McRea of Starke and Gale (Marvin) Tyer of Starke; grandchildren, Dustin (Kaitlyn) Griffis, Tanner Tyer, Shane (Courtney) Crawford, and Matthew Crawford; great-grandchildren, Addilynn Crawford and Elijah Crawford; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Crook, Rev. Lester Austin and Rev. Tom Tyer officiating. A visitation will precede the services beginning at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
