Francis "Homer" Holman 81, of Keystone Heights, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka. He was born on November 18, 1934 in Brookville, Indiana to the late Edward M. and Norma (Bischoff) Holman. Mr. Homan was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church in Cookville. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Holman worked as a welder for Agrico Chemical. He was preceded in death by his son, Roland Holman. Mr. Holman is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Lucy Ann (Holland) Holman; five children, Karen Sayez (David) of Winter Haven, Melissa Dempsey and Carolyn Dempsey both of Keystone Heights, Lucinda Murphy of Melrose, and Jay Dempsey (Brenda) of Ft. Lonesome. Also left behind are two siblings, Donald Holman (Rita) and Anita Bischoff of Brookville, Indiana; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Hopewell Funeral Home. Interment was in the Fellowship Cemetery, Ft. Lonesome.
