Mrs. Frankie L. Brookshire 90 of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Starke. She was born May 21, 1932, in Merrimac, West Virginia to Chester and Hazel Murphy. Mrs. Brookshire was a homemaker and a good Christian woman. She attended Bethel Holiness Church in Jacksonville, loved going to church and had previously taught childrens Sunday school. She was known for her kindness and compassion she showed everyone and had a talent for painting and a gift of singing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three children Randolph "Randy" Brookshire, Sandra Adams, Wade Brookshire, and a sister Imogene Blankenship. Mrs. Brookshire is survived by three children Don M. Brookshire of Keystone Heights, Rachel Alewel (Jim) and Barbara Perry (Stanley) all of Jacksonville along with a brother Ted Murphy (Ann Pitts) of Columbus, Ohio. She was also lovingly called "Me-Maw" by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At the request of Mrs. Brookshire there are no services scheduled.
