Mr. Franklin George Birt age 76, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. He was born on March 26, 1948 in Starke to the late William and Katie (Mullins) Birt and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Birt was a member of Hope Baptist Church for twenty years. He enjoyed learning about his Lord and savior and never failed to say thanks for another day.Franklin was a simple kind soul who brought laughter to everyone. He loved his animals, fishing, enjoyed spending time with those he loved and truly loved to eat.Survivors are, his cousins, Oscar Estes, Pat Crawford, Man Estes all of Hampton and Christy Curtis of Starke. The family wishes to thank the members of Hope Baptist Church for there support of Franklin over the last twenty years.
