Franklin D Heltzel

Franklin D. Heltzel age 85 of Keystone Heights passed away September 4, 2019 at Park Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville. Mr. Heltzel was born in Galien, MI to the late David and Waneta "Millemon" Heltzel on January 30, 1934. Franklin worked as a psychiatric nursing assistant for many years and also provide home care for his clients. He was a member of Community Church in Keystone Heights where he would dress up as a clown to encourage the volunteers at the resales. Franklin also enjoy going to Gator games with Father Mike, yard work, and spending time with his wife of 63 years, Marie (Dixon) Heltzel.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his children, Randy Heltzel and Barbara Heltzel. Survives include his wife, Marie Heltzel of Keystone Heights; and grand-daughter, Terri Heltzel of Keystone Heights.Memorial services will be held at a later date.
