Frederick Louis Robbert

Mr. Frederick L. Robbert 88 of Melrose passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the V.A. Hospital in Gainesville. He was born August 19, 1932, Little Ferry, New Jersey to William and Beatrice (Shunter) Robbert. Mr. Robbert had been a resident of Melrose for the past 48 years and was a retired carpenter. He was a member Fresh Start Fellowship, and enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping and building things. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years Elaine Robbert; two sons Michael Robbert and David Robbert; grandchildren Zackary Robbert, Jessica Robbert and Samuel Robbert along with a brother Bill Robbert. His survivors are his daughter Robin Roundtree (Greg) of Keystone Heights; a son Fred Robbert (Regina) of Melrose and a sister Marian Rabun of Cocoa. He was lovingly called "Poppy" by Brad Robbert, Rebecka Gaines, Preston Roundtree, Damon Robbert, Tiffany Phillips and Sable Jade Robbert along with six great grandchildren. Viewing for Mr. Robbert will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
