Mrs. Gail L. Jordan, age 84, of Starke, FL, passed away peacefully at her home on January 12, 2025. Born on November 24, 1940, in Meadville, PA, Gail was the cherished daughter of the late William and Gail Lewis (Ellion) and the beloved sister of her late brother, Bill Lewis.In 1958, Gail married the love of her life, Robert F. Jordan, and together they shared an extraordinary 66 years of marriage. Their love story began in Pennsylvania and flourished as they built a family filled with love and laughter.Gail was the devoted mother of two children: Mike Jordan (the late Theresa) and Cindy Williams (Ed). She was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and family values.A lifelong member of Grace Baptist Church since 1965, Gail served her community and church family with grace and dedication. She taught Sunday school, faithfully cleaned the church weekly, and exemplified the love of Christ in all she did.In her younger years, Gail enjoyed riding horses, embracing her adventurous spirit. She was a creative soul who loved all things glitter, and her family fondly remembers her as an extraordinary cook who compiled a treasured 170+ page recipe book. Her homemade biscuits and sweet tooth for maple and caramel remain cherished memories.Gail was a lover of gospel music, often finding joy and comfort in its uplifting melodies.
