A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 1:30PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, FL 32218. Gary B. Tullis passed away July 17, 2024 after battling cancer. He was born September 21, 1937 in Evanston, Chicago to Don and Isabelle Tullis. After graduating from the Citadel and serving as a Lt. Commander in the US Army, he graduated from the University of Florida Law School. He loved the law and knew from a very young age that he wanted to be an attorney. He served as both a US District Attorney, and later as a civil litigator for several decades and wanted to express his gratitude to his many clients over the years. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Linda, his daughters Stephanie East (Jim), and Michelle (deceased 2024), his grandson Jimmy, stepson Chris Bartlett (Pam), and grandson Cole Bartlett, as well as many nieces and nephews and other extended family. He was the last of four siblings. At his request, services will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
