Geneva Hall Boutwell

Geneva H. Boutwell passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2021. She was born January 10,1927 in Greenville, South Carolina to Mary Lee Hendrix and Henry ODell Hall. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, John Boutwell, sisters, Wilma Hall Mullinax and Doris M. Hall. Geneva was the last surviving member of her family. Geneva moved from Greenville, SC to Jacksonville, FL in 1970 when John retired from the Marines. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard, and entertaining and lodging her friends from SC, who jokingly said they came for the pool and her delicious hamburgers. At the age of 94, Geneva, outlived most of her friends, but left behind so many fun memories to the next generation of her friends, who became both her friends and family. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Greenville, SC under the direction of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Greenville. Local arrangements by George H.
