Funeral services for George F. Bloodworth, 83, who passed away on September 15, 2015, will be held Wednesday (Today) at 1:00 PM in Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane #2) with Pastor Jonathan Runge officiating. Mr. Bloodworth was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, The Morocco Temple and was also a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, the late Lucille Bloodworth; Daughters, Bubbles Becky Green and Joyce Phillips; Sons, Butch and Robert Ruis; And brother, John Frank Bloodworth. Survivors include his daughter, Janice Elliott (Brent), Sister, Hazel Hudson; Multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
