Mr. George Phillip Cromer, 82 of Keystone Heights died Wed. Sept. 30, 2009 at the Bradford Terrace Nursing Home in Starke. Mr. Cromer was born on Dec. 27, 1926 in Hagerstown, IN and had moved to Keystone Heights in 1960 from Anniston, AL. Mr. Cromer was a member of the Hope Baptist Church and was a retired Engineer from General Electric. Mr. Cromer is survived by his wife of 52 years, Edna P. Cromer and their two daughters: Debra Griffis and Pamela Cromer all of Keystone Heights; sisters: Martha Bauers of St. Petersburg and Mary Bryant of Boiling Springs, SC : grandchildren; Michael Griffis and Dena Boyette; and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Mon. Oct. 5, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. in the Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be at a later date.
