Mr. George Gustav GarrardMr. George Gustav Garrard age 61, of Starke passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. Mr. Garrard was born on June 24, 1948 in Frankfurt, Germany to Charles Anthony Garrard, Jr. and Erika Pauline Kubart, and moved to Starke in 1976 from Jacksonville. Mr. Garrard was a self-employed Fence Installer, and was a Baptist. He also served in the United States Army. Survivors are his wife of 37 years Lori Garrard of Starke; daughter Carrie Barrick of Starke; brother: Charles Anthony Garrard, III of Orange Park; three aunts; three uncles; one grandson. Services will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests contacting VyStar for donations toward funeral expenses. hide
