George Ronald "Ronnie" Sapp

Mr. George Ronald "Ronnie" Sapp, age 64, of Lawtey passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Custead Care Center at Haven Hospice in Orange Park. Mr. Sapp was born July 10, 1953 in Starke to parents, George "G.W." and Hazel (Starling) Sapp. He was a lifelong resident of Lawtey and enjoyed wood working and farming. He especially loved his grandchildren.Ronnie was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Wanda S. Sapp of Lawtey; daughter, L. Michelle Waters of Starke; son, Jamie R. Sapp (Renae) of Hampton; mother, Hazel S. Sapp of Lawtey; and sister Dianne Hickman of New York. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Hailey Waters, Madison Sapp, Ashlyn Waters, and Kaylan Waters. Family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Tillman officiating. Burial will follow at Lawtey Cemetery.
