BISHOP GEORGE L. SEDWICKBorn Madison, Pa, Jan.15,1943. Passed away Feb. 1, 2022, at the age of 79 in Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his Father, George R. Sedwick and Mother, Mildred Katherine Sedwick. George is survived by his wife of 58 yrs., Marie "Dolly", two sons Bryan (Angie), Stanley (Bobbie), daughter Natasha (Wayne),12 Grandchildren, Brother, Bud Sedwick, Sister, Brenda Smith. He served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman at NAS Patuxent River, Md. There he met Dolly in 1961.They were married in 1963 and moved to Florida in 1971 where George worked in the financial industry while he completed college and later attended Seminary. He was appointed to his first church as Pastor in 1979 and ordained as a Bishop in 1990. The family relocated to Jacksonville, FL., March,1984, where he served as Pastor for 38 years.
