George Ernest Seeley

Mr. George Ernest Seeley, Jr., 75 of Lawtey, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Gainesville. Mr. Seeley was born September 1, 1944 in Jacksonville to parents George Ernest Sr. and Bernice (Crawford) Seeley. George enjoyed racing and watching NASCAR and in his free time loved working on cars, woodworking, coaching baseball and football and going camping. He was a very supportive grandparent and never missed a single game for his grandkids. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Jackson, and granddaughter, Madison Sams. Survivors are his wife, Brenda (Jones) Seeley of Lawtey, children, Timmy Seeley (Jessica) of Starke, Apryl Seeley of Starke, Shane Seeley of Lake City and Christopher Seeley (Heather) of Jackson, GA, and sisters, Jean Tanner of Lawtey, Brenda Baker (Gene) of Starke, and Wilma Geiger of Starke. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Sabina Watson, Dawson Watson, Trey Rhoden, Shay Seeley, Savannah Seeley, Jasmine Rhoden, Wyatt Seeley, Sydney Seeley, Brady Rhoden, and Summer Rhoden; and a great-grand daughter Cassidy Seeley. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Sampson City Church of God with Jeremy Crawford officiating.
