Mrs. Georgia C. Wolfe 79, of Keystone Heights passed away in Jacksonville on June 8, 2011. She was born on December 23, 1931 to the late William and Stella (Sargent) Stanley, and has been a lifelong resident of Keystone Heights. Georgia attended and graduated Bradford County High School. She later met and married Rev. William M. Wolfe, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2001. They were married for 53 years. Georgia worked as a drug technologist at Belote Drugs for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother and she loved being with family and friends. She Also enjoyed playing cards on Thursday evenings, or any other time she had someone to play hands and feet with her. As a founding member of First Baptist Church of Keystone Heights she loved her church family and enjoyed working at the church clothes closet sorting donated items. Preceded in death by her sisters, Polly Price and Peggy Tiedgen, Ms. Georgia is survived by her sister: Zannie Barrington of Clinton, TN; one brother, William Stanley of Keystone Heights; three children: Carol Rozear of Gainesville, William M. Wolfe Jr. of Keystone Heights, and Gail Acree of Archer. She was proud of her very own baseball team which consisted of her grandchildren: Summer, Rebecca, Christopher, William Bunk III, Stuart, Sean, Stephen, Nick, Heather and Aaron, three great grandchildren Ginny, Kaylee, C.J., and Kayla. She will also be missed by her very special friend Stormy.The family will receive friends in Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel on Monday June 13, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel.
