Mr. Gerald Herbert Gilmore age 81, of Starke passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 following a long illness. Mr. Gilmore was born on March 26, 1929 in Jacksonville to the late Thomas H. Gilmore, Sr. and Irene Austin Gilmore. He was a retired Commercial Pipe Fitter and a member of the Local Union #234. Mr. Gilmore was a Baptist and served in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his daughter: Janice West of Keystone Heights; sons: Ronald Gilmore of Starke and Darrell Gilmore of Melrose; brother: Thomas Gilmore, Jr. of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
