Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Riffe

Mr. Gerald "Jerry" W. Riffe age 74 of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in Starke following an extended illness. He was born November 30, 1944, in Bristol, Tennessee to the late Sherman and Beulah (Phillips) Riffe. Mr. Riffe had been a resident of Keystone Heights for over twenty years and was employed by All Florida Electric Company in Gainesville for many years as an electrician until his retirement. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music along with being outdoors fishing and camping, but most of all he loved being with his grandchildren. Mr. Riffe is survived by his wife of twenty-two years Rhonda (Moxley) Riffe of Keystone Heights; four children Aaron Meng (Brittany Arpke) who is serving in the Air Force in London, Brittany Rollins (Jared) of Jacksonville, Jeremy Riffe of Bradenton and Lisa Riffe of Georgia along with a sister Margaret Whitaker of Bristol, Tennessee. He was also lovingly call "Grampy" by eight grandchildren Joshua, Micaha, Benjamin, Silas, Elijah, Charlotte, Naomi and Heidi along with a great granddaughter Zoey. A memorial service for Mr. Riffe will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, Florida 32606.
