Geraldine "Geri" Brady

Mrs. Geraldine "Geri" Brown Brady age 82, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Brady was born on July 10, 1934 in Brooker to the late Clyde and Leona (Thomas) "Ma Boots" Brown. Geri graduated from Bradford High School and was a cheerleader. She was a member of the Penyon Group at the Special Need Olympics. Prior to retirement she was the secretary to the Colonel at Camp Blanding and later worked for Dixie Electric as a purchasing agent. Survivors are: her daughter: Patricia Jay of Starke, grandson: Matthew Jay of New York, great grandchildren: Jaylen and Anabella, sisters: Glinda Powers of Tallahassee and Cindy Griffis of Graham, brother: Buddy Brown of Jennings, and her long-time friends Carol and Larry Eldridge of Ft. Lauderdale. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on SATURDAY, October 29, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with refreshments provided.
