Geraldine Theresa "Gerri" Green

Mrs. Geraldine Theresa "Gerri" Green age 85, of Starke passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her sons home in Keystone Heights. She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on April 19, 1931 to the late William and Lillian (Lewis) OBrien, and was a devoted housewife and mother. Mrs. Green had been a longtime member and Sunday school teacher of Grace Baptist Church and she also attended Hope Baptist Church. For twenty plus years, Mrs. Green volunteered with the Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies; she enjoyed shopping (especially at the Dollar Tree), making arts and crafts and was known for her hand writing in calligraphy, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. In 2010, her husband of 49 years, Edward Nathan Green preceded her in death. Mrs. Green is survived by her three children; LeeAnn Blalock (Jerry) of St. Augustine, Billy Green (Joanne) of Keystone Heights and Brad Green (Michelle) of Gainesville. Also left behind are two siblings; Billy OBrien and Ann Copley both of Taunton, Massachusetts along with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, Saturday, December 17, 2016.
