Ms. Gertrude Charlotte Davis age 93, of Penney Farms passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at The Pavilion for Health Care in Penney Farms. Ms. Davis was born on February 3, 1920 in Merchantville, New Jersey to the late Charles and May Amelia (Foisie) Davis. Prior to retirement she worked as a missionary nurse serving in the Congo and other areas. Gertrude was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Davis Hicks and brother Winslow Davis. She is survived by her sister: Eleanor Whitecar of Ft. Myers and her niece, Carolyn Davis of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Memorial services are pending. hide
