RICE: Gisela Rice A.K.A. GIGI, Sammy to some due to pronunciation problems of her true name born in Bergen, Kreis Rugen Kiel Germany 11-12-1942 daughter of Gunter and Inga Bauersfeld. Granddaughter of the famous Walter Bauersfeld. She moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1963 while breaking the barrier securing a job as a woman Draftsman. Before C.A.D. While doing wash at the laundry mat and introduced herself soon to be married to her husband James Rice on 3-21-1964. She had three children, Thomas, Michael, Peter and two grandchildren Joshua and Logan. She attended Christ United Methodist Church and various other groups where she spent her time sewing and knitting for our local hospitals. She also volunteered at Jacksonville Mission House. She enjoyed being and American tourist as to be very well traveled throughout many continents. Her true passion included biking, truly loved fishing, puzzles, lets not forget scrabble and the Jumble (Should Shall). Everyone remember her for the zest she had for life and knowledge. May we all truly hold her in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts. Arrangements under the direction of George H.
