Mrs. Gladys Geneva Malphurs 90, of Jacksonville and formerly of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at St. Catherines Laboure Manor in Jacksonville. Mrs. Malphurs was born June 24, 1922 in Alamo, Georgia to the late William C. and Alice (Evans) Causey. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Her husband of 64 years, Raymond Lamar Malphurs had preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors are her children; Marie Bootsie Bethune (Danny) of Jacksonville and Raymond Bugs V. Malphurs (Oxiris) of Jacksonville, NC; 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Graveside services will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. Viewing will be prior to services beginning.
