Gladys M Nelson

Mrs. Gladys Mary Nelson age 84 of Interlachen, formerly of Keystone Heights, passed away at her home Tuesday, July 20, 2021, following an illness. She was born April 12, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Manuel Safron and Monserrate Castillo (Martin) Safron.Gladys retired as a cosmetologist following many years of dedicated service in Keystone Heights. She would read her Bible and pray her rosary daily; she also enjoyed watching foreign movies, shopping at thrift stores, and being on the water - especially at the beach. She cherished her 1965 Corvette, but most of all she loved being with her children and grandchildren.Mrs. Nelson is survived by her daughter Monique Nelson of Ft. Lauderdale and son Mark Nelson of Interlachen; three siblings, Tony Safron of Miami; Stella Miola and Joani Santana both of West Palm Beach.
