Gladys S. Nesler (Whitcomb), 91, died peacefully December 8, 2013 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL.She was born September 30th, 1922 in Champaign, Illinois and moved to Gainesville, FL in 1958. Gladys was a homemaker and retired from Sears after 20 years. She loved being with family and enjoyed growing flowers.She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Ruth Whitcomb; brother William Whitcomb, and husband Vernon Nesler. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Kater of Lake Havasu City, AZ; three children Lee Nesler (Mary) of Apopka FL; Tim Nesler (Gerri) of Gainesville, FL; and Pat Marable (Jim) of Summerville, SC; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Chapel in the Meadows at Forest Meadows Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville with visitation one hour prior from 10-11:00.
