Dale was a Green City girl and Wayne quickly turned her into a country girl. Dale was a very intelligent woman who studied early child hood education and went on to Santa Fe Community College to obtain her AA in early child hood development and quickly began her career as a Teacher in the Alachua county school system where she worked with many of her students who loved and called her Mrs. Townsend. Children were her passion! After many years of hard work Dale retired and started a shrimp and catfish business with her husband Wayne Townsend for the past 15 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and being with her family. Dale was the rock that we all leaned and depended on. Dale was a strong woman of faith and began a church ministry and was the new founder of Hope Fellowship Church of Campville FL. She loved the Lord and was continuing to teach the children at Hope Fellowship Church about Jesus Christ and our dear heavenly Father as well as the holy Spirit. Dale was a born again Christian who loved the Lord. Dale would want us to remember her by her love for Jesus Christ and her amazing anointed voice which was a gift from God himself! Dale loved to sing the songs of Zion! She loved the Lord with all of her heart and she loved her family with all of her heart!Dale was proceeded in death by her son Samuel Dean Townsend. You will then see sister Glenda Dale Townsend one day again in Heaven! Where she promised to meet all of us by the river of life!
