Gloria Geeting The world has lost a wonderful woman, but God has gained an angel. Gloria Geeting, 69, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2013. Gloria was a beautiful soul and an amazing wife, mother and caregiver. She passed away surrounded by her immediate family. Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Warren; her two children, Lisa Vann (Cliff) and David White (Kelly); her grandchildren Holley Vann and Bradley Vann, as well as her mother Juanita Crum, sisters Sharon Dube and Effie Cross and her brothers John Dukes, Bill Dukes and Jimmy Dukes. She was preceded in death by her father, William Henry Dukes. Gloria was born in Jacksonville, FL on July 20, 1943. She graduated from Englewood High School, class of 1961, and St. Lukes Hospital School of Nursing. She finished her nursing career of 30 years at Wolfson Childrens Hospital, where she was a pediatric oncology nurse. Her children remember her stories of the many patients she cared for and the lives she touched. She spent her last years dedicated to her family and her church.A viewing will be held on Tuesday February 12 (tonight) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at George H.
