Gloria Ann Iverson, 85, passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017 at her home in Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday May 7, 2017 at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A graveside funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday May 8, 2017 in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.Gloria was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 16, 1931 to John & Octa. She was a retired secretary for the U.S. Treasury Department. Gloria and her husband, Richard, have been residents of Jacksonville for the last year, having spent the previous 25 years in Summerville, New Jersey and before that the Albany, New York area where they were very dedicated members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.Gloria dedicated her life to her family, her influence on them is immeasurable and she will be missed greatly by them all. Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Oscar Richard Iverson; 2 daughters, Sandi Corrigan (husband, Dennis) & Chris Garro; 2 sons, Bruce Iverson (wife, Hwasun) & Richard Iverson; 10 grandchildren: Erik, Max, Nicole, Heather, Brittany, Missy, John, Michael, Kelsy and Andrew; 8 great grandchildren: Christian, Edwin, Sammy, Marlon, Giovanni, Selena, Jeison & Camryn; and by many extended family members & friends.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Glorias name to Living Resources Foundation Albany, NY..VisitationSunday, May 7, 201702:00 PM - 04:00 PM George H.
